Orkney Venus exhibition display for Historic Scotland
MacDonald Orr Design has completed design for a display of the 'Orkney Venus' or 'Westray Wife' - a major archaelogical discovery made during excavations at Links of Noltland in the Orkney Isles. This remarkable find has generated global interest and at 5000 years old, is the earliest human figure ever found in Scotland. The display is at Edinburgh Castle from 19 October to 1 November and will tour around Scotland, evenutally returning to it's permanent home in Orkney.
